January 2007:

Calico Ghost Town park as seen from the Barstow Calico KOA.

This old wagon caught my eye as we entered the town and getting this shot was worth the whole trip.

Most of the buildings on the main street have been restored and many now house gift shops.

Numerous other buildings appear to be left just as they were.

Of course we had to include a shot of the wine bottle house.

The overall impression is that it was hard and desolate times back then.
