 February 2008 - Seven Feathers RV
We spent several days loafing around at the Seven Feathers RV park about forty miles north of Grants Pass, OR and we were lucky enough to get a few days of nice weather.
They have done a very nice job of making a high quality place to stay, just across the highway from their casino, which has gambling of course and some excellent food.
We were even enticed into trying out the swimming pool and hot tub.
I got a little exercise by hiking up a nearby hill for an overview of the park.
February 2008 - Champoeg Campground, WA
We stayed at Champoeg Campground the day before and after the concert.
It's a pleasant place with lots of families with lots of kids on the weekends.
There is a path along the river bank but no access to the water, as it's about fifty feet straight down.
There are a number of houses or cabins along the opposite shore and it looks like there must be a substantial rise and fall of the water level.
February 2008 - American Heritage Campground, OR
This was an okay place for a stopover on the way home. It was very quiet till the backhoe started up in the morning, but we figured we needed to be up and going anyway.
A neighboring house seemed to be a little worse for the wear, though the back half was holding up better.
I couldn't tell if anyone lived there (it might have been a garage for the nearby house) but I guess they needed their TV, unless that was just where the TV guy was staying.
