September 2005:
It was quite impressive even though the sky was overcast.
The colors must be spectacular in the sunshine, I woud think.
We were going to get out to enjoy the view from one of the highest overlooks,
but we decided to stay in the car.
A couple of loud barks and Shelby had most of the bison on their feet,
though they were not much inclined to get out of our way.
(We ended up backing out of the overlook to continue our drive.)
