	June, 2010 Armitage Park is near the McKenzie River in Eugene, Oregon.
	May, 2009 Griffin Park, after the boat races, is a nice place to spend a few very quiet days.
	May, 2008 Griffin Park is right on the Rogue River and made a great place to see the jet boat and hydroplane races, up close and personal.
	February, 2008 We took a little vacation, stopping at the Seven Feathers RV park then continuing up to Washington, staying at Champoeg campground while seeing Bill Engvall at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton. We then stopped overnight at the American Heritage campground on the way back home.
	May & December, 2007 We returned to Valley of the Rogue once more in May just to spend the weekend with some friends and then came back again in December for a week or so to quietly ring in 2008.
	September, 2007 We took a couple of weeks to tour around the Bend, OR area and a few places between Bend and Grants Pass. This was our Fall 2007 trip.
	July 2007 We spent a long weekend at the brand new and very nice Seven Feathers RV park to attend a nearby painting seminar. Well -- one of us was busy painting while the others stayed in the park to hold down the fort. We did all manage to try out some of the Seven Feathers fine dinning, too. 	July 2007 The Good Sam RV rally was held in Redmond Oregon this year and a few thousand RV campers (including us) set up dry camps in the gravel parking lots around the fairgrounds. Everyone spent the days touring over a thousand new rigs on display and buying much needed "stuff" from the many vender's booths. We stopped at the Deerwood RV to rest up on the way back home.
	May 2007 We arrived extra early to get the very best spot overlooking the Rogue River at Galice-Hellgate. Then some friends later joined us to watch the jet boat races.
	January 2007 Seemed like the cold winter months would be a good time to check out Arizona, so off we went for a nice long southern vacation.
	October 2006 (left) & April 2007 (right) We spent five fall days exploring the various waterfalls at Oregon's Silver Falls State Park. We returned in the Spring for a couple days but didn't get to see all the falls.
	September 2006 We had a whirlwind weekend trip to Colorado for Bruce and Ellen's wedding.
	September 2006 We spend a few days at Oregon's Natural Bridge Campground on the Rogue River.
	August 2006 We tried a midweek summer visit at Joseph Stewart State Park. Advance reservations definitely needed for a weekend stay.
	September 2005 We finally made our trip around the North West Loop. Click the map to see our route.
	July 2005 We took a day trip to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon to see if the blue water was as intense as everyone says it is. Click on the picture for a bigger view.
	May 3, 2005 We took a day trip to the Wildlife Safari park at Winston, Oregon and found it very relaxing with only a few other visitors on a Tuesday in early May. Click on the Giraffe to see some of our pictures.
	April 10, 2005 We escaped for a rainy day getaway in Jesse M. Honeyman State Park. Basically, we got away and it was rainy. Nice park, though, but not on the beach, however the beach is reachable by walking over the sand dunes - if you don't get run over by all the dune buggies. There is a little swimming lake that might be nice in the summer, though I seem to remember that it was full of algae last time we were there. Florence is nearby if you want some window shopping.
	March 16, 2005 Joseph Stewart State Park midweek in March is pleasantly uncrowded with only a few other campers for company. There's a good sized lake, though a rocky steep shoreline, unless you hike to the swimming area. Click on the left picture for a bigger view.
	February & March, 2005 We spent a few days at Valley of the Rogue State Park, just for a quick little getaway. There were only a few other February campers so it was not crowded at all. There is a nice easy walking path along the Rogue River, but that's about all -- except the pleasure of just being away where there are no chores to be done. We came again in March and used the park as a base for several wine tasting trips with some friends. There are quite a few local wineries in this area.
	We went to Montana and had a great time.
	Lake Siskiyou in northern California west of Mount Shasta. We stayed there in a group camping trip and didn't get to know much about the lake, except it's pretty. Crowded camping and hot in the summer. Don't know how the fishing is. We might want to go back sometime just to get to know it better. Click on the picture for a bigger view.
