Glass Block Drilling

Drilling a glass block

I suppose this doesn't really belong in the woodworking section, but the wood shop is where the work was done.  A vacuum hose to capture the glass dust, an air stream to help keep the bit cool, a jury rigged clamp for stability and it only takes a few minutes to punch a hole through.

My effort is done and it will now move on to Marie's Paintshop.

When we are done it will look something like this one, which we bought as a model.
