	January 2009 I filed one of my chisels into an end scrapper, then tried it out on this candle holder.			January 2009 This is my second effort on this one. The first effort started from firewood, then became firewood again.
	January 2009 These blanks are from reclaimed firewood. It's good practice and provides stock for projects.			January 2009 This was a fun little project and I was very pleased with the result.
	December 2008 I ran a lathe blank through the chop saw to produce a stack of wood rounds to be painted as ornaments.			December 2008 Marie needed something to keep her nail polish from tipping over, so I zipped out this little workstation.
	November 2008 This hurricane lantern base is now ready to be decorated by our resident artist.			October 2008 Marie wanted a little lighthouse to paint and I managed to turn these without too much trouble.
	October 2008 The mandatory wooden mallet. I'm looking at my firewood with different eyes now.			October 2008 First time ever, so I took a chunk of old 2x4 and trimmed it to a 2x2 then just started shaving to see what would happen -- and shortly this little piece appeared.
